The property for this 24-acre park was purchased from Esther Loft in 1980 and was constructed in 1982. It is an excellent starting point for hiking and biking into Somerset County parklands to both the east and the west.
The park contains one of the four flying disk golf courses in Somerset County and the only one in Bridgewater. The course is unusual in that it includes long holes in the field for distance and short ones with large changes in topography and obstacles for finesse.
It also contains Bridgewater’s only Cricket field and has a large and popular playground. It also contains the starting point for a model of the solar system which extends westward to Argonne Farm Drive.
